Wide Open Country has debuted the second single from The Night You Wrote That Song: The Songs of Mickey Newbury, my upcoming album (May 15) of songs by one of my biggest songwriting heroes. UK fans may remember “Why You Been Gone So Long” from the Dancing With The Beast tour, where we played it as an encore song.
